The Mercy Me concert was amazing! While I don’t have many good pictures, we had great seats and the kids absolutely loved it! Many of the songs brought out emotions for the kids and some tears, but also a lot of joy and knowing their dad is in a better place and watching out for them! When they played “I Can Only Imagine” (One of the songs played at their dad’s funeral) we were afraid it might be too much, but I think it was actually good! After a few good tears, they recovered well and as we left, they were in better spirits! This was a trip we had planned before Jeff passed away and he had been really happy that they were going to the concert! They knew that and I think it made them happy to know he would have been happy for them! All in all, the weekend was amazing and a very good stress relief for the kids and for us!
