Due to rain, our major gift for our first day was moved from 11am to 4:30pm! The gift was a flight over Charleston and all the surrounding area! Turns out, we got to have a romantic sunset flight over the beaches of Charleston and the city along with the bridges, light houses and other incredible sights! We also flew over the USS Yorktown that we had spent most of the day on and the Cooper River Bridge, which is one of the most beautiful bridges I have ever seen! The flight, our pilot, the weather, and everything about this experience was amazing, but the best thing of all was sharing it with my beautiful wife Phyllis! Holding her as we watched the world below was so wonderful and I cherished every moment and will enjoy every memory! I feel so blessed every day to have this kind of love in my life that I never expected to find!
