We have been sidelined for a little while, but last week Phyllis and I finally got a weekend together high atop Lookout Mountain! Stories and pictures from those adventures later! This weekend, we headed to Hiawassee for the kids birthday present, a Mercy Me concert tomorrow night at the Georgia Mountain Fair Grounds! Who would have guessed! But some other side trips today! We made it to our creek side cabin, a great find on VRBO and got settled in! Then we went to a working Cattle Farm and had a tour and got to see some animals! The kids loved it! The steer that is giving me the death stare, I believe his name is Ribeye, looked amazing! After buying some meat for dinner, we headed to Chatuge Dam and did a little walking and the kids rolled down the hill repeatedly! Then back to the cabin for some great burgers and a little sitting on the porch listening to the creek! Amazing day! Life has started to get back to normal! Off for more fun tomorrow! Back to camping soon! I love the cabin, but it isn’t the same as being out in the woods! Hope every one has a great weekend!
